Having the right product for the correct application is key when working with Rhinestones, Adhesive Vinyl and Heat Transfer Vinyl. In this video Matt explains the differences between Colorspark Bling Anything, Colorspark HTV Anything and Colorspark Vinyl Shield; so you can be sure your matching the perfect material to your project. While both our Bling Anything material and HTV Anything material turn heat applied materials into decals that are dishwasher safe, the main difference is what you can/should apply directly to them. The clue is found in the name of the material. With Bling Anything, you can apply hotfix rhinestones directly to it. With HTV Anything, you apply HTV to it (first). On either one, you can layer rhinestones over the top of the heat transfer vinyl. Our HTV Anything is thinner and can have thinner htv pressed to it, but you will want to take some precautions, such as taping down your htv to help prevent any bubbling. When removing your carrier sheet, roll it off rather than pulling up vertically. Taking these precautions will help ensure any thinner materials you apply to htv anything will garner great results. Vinyl Shield is a very different material all together. Colorspark Vinyl Shield is a clear mask material with an adhesive back that you can cut and hand apply over decals to protect them. ColorSpark Vinyl Shield is great for protecting the Opal vinyl from scratches, it has UV protection built in to minimize fading and will make your decal vinyl dishwasher safe. We recommend cutting your Vinyl Shield with an offset/contour/shadow so it is slightly bigger than your decal, to fully protect the decal from water.
