Q: I am new to the rhinestone world which I absolutely love. On this wrap do you send the template to me OR do I by the file and print it myself? Same with the tumbler wraps? Thank you for being so patient with me

Hi there! Welcome to the TRW Crew! With these designs, after you purchase, you will be able to go to your My Account page on our website. From there, near the top left, you'll see My Items and My Orders. You can go to either one of those tabs to download your file. You will then be able to cut the template at home with your vinyl cutter. When you download, use the CRAFTER version or file for Design Space. This makes it faster to load for you. We have the dimensions listed on the template--first ungroup the text from the yellow template box. Then resize the box to the size we list on the file. If you are new to rhinestones and the Magic Flock templates, we recommend peeling the paper backing from your Magic Flock and sticking the flock sticky side down to your cutting mat. This helps to weed out the dots that will be cut for the rhinestones to fall into. We also set a custom setting in Design Space using 350 force, Fine Point Blade, single cut. Do a test cut of a few small dots to be sure your cut settings are dialed in properly--the life of your blade as well as your own machine's calibration can affect the quality of your cut. :) If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us through Facebook or Instagram messenger or call us. Hi there!

The basic materials you'll need for working with rhinestones are:

Magic Flock Template material to cut the rhinestone design into.

ss10 Hotfix rhinestones. A gross is a unit of measure, meaning 144 of any one item. We sell rhinestones by the 10 gross bag or 1,440 rhinestones. Check the template description to determine how many bags you will need for your project.

HTV Anything decal material - this is the award winning material that will turn the glitter htv into a decal.

Glitter htv

A rhinestone brush to brush your stones into the template. We use a Shureline paint edger, which can often be found locally. We also carry them on our site if you're needing to order.

Acrylic Hotfix Tape - this lifts the rhinestones from the template and holds them in place so you can align them to the glitter htv after you have pressed the htv to the HTV Anything.

Teflon Cover Sheet.

We have full step by step tutorials on our YouTube channel and here under the Rhinestone and Glitter tumbler posts. Follow the same steps, but just use the Cricut template rather than the tumbler template. :)

No, this is a download to cut a template to decorate your Cricut Explore Air 2 with glitter htv and hotfix rhinestones.

Cricut's software is limited and does not currently have tools to create your own rhinestone designs. You CAN upload rhinestone designs and cut them with your Cricut.

If you are wanting to create your own templates, we recommend using outside software to design in and export your work as svg to upload to Design Space. You can use Silhouette Studios Business Edition software, even if you don't own a Silhouette vinyl cutter. Or you can upgrade to the TRW Design Wizard and CorelDraw to have the best design software bundle available.
