TRW College - Multi Decoration Font Download

Question

Q: How do you get the second layer behind the rhinestones? I use a silhouette and when I click the font, it only changes it to rhinestones. In other shadow fonts, there are layers, but with this one, I didn’t see it. But the picture shows a background font, then the rhinestones.

Q: I have tried cutting with this font twice and it’s cutting the holes too close together, so the cut into each other. I started with the recommended 121 pt for ss10 stones, I group and released compound path to check size. I’ve even reduced size a little. I’ve watched every video I can find, but nothing seems to cover what I’m doing wrong. Can you suggest what might be the issue?

Q: I purchased the TRW College -Multi font last night. I am trying to use with my Cricut Design space and only the outlines shows up. The part that is for the vinyl shows. However the inside part for the rhinestones does not show up. How do I get that show up so I can cut the circles for the rhinestones?

A: The vinyl letters are tied to the lower case characters in that font, type TEST and test (exactly as I typed it) and you will get the rhinestone and vinyl parts.

We've checked this file with the point size recommended and it has been cutting fine for us. A couple possibilities that could be affecting your cuts:

Perhaps your blade holder is loose?
Or if you are cutting at a speed higher than 5, often the Cameo can mess up a cut.

A: Type your word once in uppercase. Type it again in lowercase. This gives you both elements.

This font includes a OTF file, which is a typeable font. You can use it in any software, including Silhouette or Adobe. If you check the Product Features tab, you'll see that we include the font point size that you'll need to use for different rhinestone sizes.

The font comes in as SS10 size.
If you need another size, there's a point chart under the item features:

ss16 Point Size: 153

Depending onthe particular font you are using, there either will be two fonts to download or you'll type your text first in CAPITAL letters and again in lowercase, to get both halves of the font.

The TRW College Multidec has the Rhinestone portion of the font when you use the Capital letters and the htv portion when you type in lowercase.
