Question

Q: I am using Cricit Explore 3. When I go to cut this on Magic Flock will it cut the little boxes around each letter so I can move them around to form different words? Or is there something I have to do to facility that? I am a new user and have been watching Matts video. I am very grateful to have learned how to resize dots to .135 with the Contour button and Slice tool. For now all my designs just come out as one piece. The box does not cut, just the design. Thanks for your help.

This style of font is the kind that you can type and it will all flow together like cursive.
The "scrabble tile" fonts are the ones with the boxes that can be arranged, they're the non true type fonts.
If you're in design space, all of the little dots of the font may mess with it and freeze it up, so be aware of that.
If you're working in another software like silhouette designer edition (free) then you can easily pull this up on screen and edit if needed, but since it's a cursive type font, you likely won't want the letters spaced far apart, it would kill the point of cursive with having them kerned.
