what is the difference in the files? There's a regular file and a crafter file

A:
We create our rhinestone designs with many file types, so that folks running different vinyl cutters and software can open them.
The Crafter files are designed with Cricut's Design Space users in mind. We take the rhinestone design and knock it out through the template (slice it out), so the templates are rectangles with several holes in them, rather than rectangles with hundreds or thousands of dots on top of them. These files are simplified in this way so that Design Space sees them as a single object and won't crash.
We create the Crafter files in svg files or for the larger designs, we create them as png files.

Resizing a Rhinestone Design:
TRW Rhinestone designs are created based on a standard SS10 stone size. To maintain the proportions and detail of the design it should only be resized by altering the stone size.
By selecting a different stone size in your design software your design will get smaller or larger while still maintaining the proportions and detail of the design.
Selecting a stone size of SS6 or below will make your final design smaller while still maintaining the proportions and detail of the design.
Selecting a stone size of SS16 or above will make your final design larger while still maintaining the proportions and detail of the design.
Attempting to scale a rhinestone design to a larger or smaller size without changing the stone size requires a complete redesign of the design points and will
NOT
maintain the proportions and detail in the design. In addition to distortion of the design proportions altering a rhinestone design improperly will change hole sizes and rhinestones will not properly brush into the template. A redesign should only be attempted by crafters and professionals experienced in building custom rhinestone design files. To rebuild a rhinestone design you will need to delete, add and move stone points to create a completely new rhinestone design.
