A: No, Bling Anything Material is a special material for making rhinestone decals or stickers. Bling Anything is the only material that you can heat press hot-fix rhinestone directly on to make a rhinestone decal.
HTV Anything is made to press your Heat Transfer Vinyl on to make unique HTV Decals.

Q:What is the recommended time and temp for Bling anything and is it a cold peel?

Q:I've seen the tutorials using mystic vinyl as a base material on a tumbler and then bling anything with ab stones over it. I have two questions:
1. The bling anything is dishwasher safe, permanent vinyl is not. Since the vinyl is the base material, would a tumbler made this way still be dishwasher safe?
2. If I'm using jet stones on a matte black tumbler, do I still need a vinyl base or world the interstices be dull by comparison?
Thanks so much.
Asked by: StephieStuff
- 10/3/2021
A: Thanks for asking! Yes, your product will be dishwasher safe, however, we recommend to hand wash your stones to prolong their lifespan and keep them looking good as new! As for jet black stones on a matte black tumbler, it is 100% your preference. The stones would appear more understated, but you'd get a beautiful glisten with the shiny to matte contrast!

Q:I am being asked if anyone knows of a double sided adhesive for glitter. I thought of bling anything. They want to run it thru a cutter and cut out a full size tumbler template and lay it on the cup.
Asked by: Rosetta Jenkins
- 2/23/2021
A: It sounds like this may be a solution for you project. Bling anything has an adhesive backing. You would press your glitter HTV to the bling anything and then attach the bling anything to your cup.

Q:Can you use this on cups and tumblers too or just decals
Asked by: Robin DeJesus
- 2/27/2021
A: Yes, you can put this on a tumbler. This decal material turns heat applied materials into a dishwasher safe decal or wrap for tumblers. Bling Anything is the decal material you'd use if you only want to use Rhinestones directly on the decal material. HTV Anything is our other material that you do need to press htv to first and then rhinestones on top of the htv.

Q:What size hot fix stone is recommended for car decals?
Asked by: maria gutierrez
- 3/15/2021
A: Fantastic question. Most of our rhinestone designs use ss10 rhinestones. This size is great for a car decal. If your car window has the room AND you are proficient in resizing rhinestone designs to use other rhinestone sizes, ss16 might work well for car windows as long as they do not inhibit field of view. ;)

Asked by: Val

Q:If I layer glitter HTV vinyl with rhinestones on Bling NE Thing, how long will it last on a car window? And would you recommend this for a car window decal?
Asked by: Debi
- 3/23/2021
A: The Bling Anything Decal Material is very durable and has been used outdoors successfully for years.
However, htv is not rated for outdoor use and fades quickly in the sun. We recommend glitter htv vinyl on our Bling Anything Decal Material for decals that can go on tumblers, laptops and other hard surfaces to be used indoors.
For outdoor decals, we recommend our ColorSpark Adhesive vinyls.

Q:Can i layer Colorspark on Bling Anything with rhinestones on top of the Colorspark? If so, how can i do this? I can't heat press them on the colorspark, right? Do you have any suggestions on how i can do this? I want to make a rhinestone decal for a car with a glitter background.
Asked by: Debi Meadows
- 3/23/2021
A: You can safely layer rhinestones on top of glitter HTV without too much difficulty, although it can be a little tricky if you try to layer rhinestones on top of a thinner HTV. However most reflective/holographic HTV''s cannot be layered on top of with rhinestones. Here is the link to a blog post about making a glitter/rhinestone layer car decal. https://www.therhinestoneworld.com/Layered-Glitter-HTV-and-Rhinestone-Decal_b_131.html

Q:Can this be used to make decals with vinyl and rhinestones?
Asked by: Rhonda
- 1/4/2022
A: Yes, you can make decals with either htv or hotfix rhinestones using our Bling Anything Decal Material. Both Hotfix rhinestones as well as htv can be pressed directly to the Bling Anything or you can break the layering rule used for apparel and press hotfix rhinestones on top of glitter htv that has been pressed to the Bling Anything.
If you're layering hotfix rhinestones on top of glitter htv, though, we recommend using our newer material, HTV Anything, as it is a bit thinner and costs less per foot than the Bling Anything.
Rhinestone-only decals do need Bling Anything.

Q:What can I use instead of Bling Anything to make rhinestone car decal
Asked by: Kay Gibson
- 2/22/2022
A: Bling Anything is a unique material, which lets you press hotfix rhinestones to it to create a rhinestone decal. But, you could use our HTV Anything decal material IF you press htv first and layer rhinestones on top of the htv. Keep in mind, htv is not rated for continuous outdoor use, so a decal which is made using htv as the first layer to rhinestones will start to fade on a car window. HTV Anything with glitter htv and rhinestones is what we use to create the rhinestone and glitter Starbucks tumbler wraps.

A: For our Starbucks Acrylic 24 oz tumblers, we typically use our Other specialty decal material, HTV Anything and apply glitter htv to the HTV Anything first, then layer hotfix rhinestones on top of the htv.
You'd use Bling Anything if you are doing a hotfix rhinestone ONLY tumbler or decal.
For the 24 oz tumblers, you'd need at least 18" of these materials, so please order at least 2 feet of the 12" wide material.

Q:I want to put rhinestones on a clear acrylic purse. Would this work?
Asked by: Jamie Leaf
- 11/6/2022
A: It's a bit difficult to answer that, since use of the purse and how the purse is made will come into play. Is the purse hard-sided? Or can it bend and flex? The Bling Anything will work, but if there's a lot of hard bending/flexing of the purse, you could pop some rhinestones. I've applied rhinestone decals to curved tumblers, so the curve was fine, but if bent sharply, you could break that bond between rhinestone and Bling Anything material. The rhinestones are very durable on the Bling Anything--we've had car decals that have lasted on cars for years without losing any rhinestones. However, when a customer tried to peel her rhinestone decal off of her car when she sold it, some of her rhinestones did pop off. The stretching of the Bling Anything caused that bond between the material and the rhinestones to break. Hope this helps!

A: We actually did a TRW Lab to test this out! We wanted to see how a Rhinestone reindeer head would look on wrapped canvas and tried two methods: pressing directly to the wrapped canvas and pressing to our Bling Anything and applying that rhinestone decal to the canvas.
The Bling Anything version worked much better than trying to press a thick, wrapped canvas in our press. If this is for something that will hang on a wall or be displayed and not worn, yes, it will work. If you are decorating anything that will be worn or washed, we'd recommend pressing hotfix rhinestones directly to the garment.

A: We have not tested the material to be used for any way other than intended. Be sure no one is allergic to the materials. It behaves as a decal so it's possible although it will not last long with skin oils, sweat, etc. There are adhesives online specifically made for placing stones to skin, I would use those instead since they're created for that use.

Q:I am trying to make rhinestone decals but when I peel the backing off the bling anything the rhinestones start popping off the front. I am using a 9x9 press and mat. I have it set for 330*. The rhinestones are great on my shirts just having a hard time with the bling anything. Thanks for any advice.
Asked by: Rebecca Bender
- 6/23/2023
A: There are a few tips to keep in mind when making rhinestone decals with Bling Anything. First, let's talk about your press. Do you have an infrared thermometer so you can check the temperature coming off of your heated platen? We use ours everyday with our heat presses. Often, a heat press can develop cold spots and knowing the actual heat coming off the heated platen is vital. When you press the rhinestones to the Bling Anything decal material, be sure to have the Acrylic hotfix tape away from the edge of the Bling Anything. The sticky tape can grab and lift the edges of the decal. When pressing, we also like to make a little 'protective cover sheet sandwich'. Fold your protective cover sheet in half so that you have the sheet under the Bling Anything as well as on top. After pressing, flip the whole thing over and do another press from the back, so that the heat is applied directly to the heat-activated adhesive on the back of the rhinestones. We press for about 5 - 8 seconds and call this the insurance press. The Bling Anything and rhinestones tend to really hold onto the heat, so use caution when removing the decal from your protective cover sheet sandwich. Let the rhinestones cool a bit before removing the Acrylic hotfix tape. Properly pressed hotfix rhinestone decals will have a tiny ring around each rhinestone. This is a specialty layer of the Bling Anything, which melts and hugs up around the stones, helping to hold them in place. When you remove the backing, try placing the decal stone side down on your work table. I like to use a pick tool to get under that backing layer, to help lift it. Then, roll or peel the backing off the decal, rather than pulling the decal off of the backing. Hope this helps!

Q:approx. how long will the car decal work once pressed with rhinestones and applied to vehicle
Asked by: Amy

A: If properly cared for, then as long as other decals. Same rules apply - no ice scrapers, and don't linger on the decal with a powerful carwash wand, etc.

A: Bling Anything is used to turn hotfix rhinestones into a sticker or decal. There is a shiny side and a dull side. Press rhinestones to the shiny side.
Trim your Acrylic hotfix tape near to the rhinestone design, because you do not want the tape to be near the edge of the Bling Anything. Fold your protective cover sheet in half and place your decal in-between the two layers of your protective cover sheet.
Press for 10 - 15 seconds at 325 degrees F with medium-firm pressure. Open the heat press, flip the whole decal cover sheet over and press again for an additional 6-8 seconds. We call this the insurance press.
When you open the press, let the decal cool a bit before handling it, as these tend to hold onto heat. Trim the excess Bling Anything near to the stones, but do not cut into the small, raised rings around the rhinestones.
Peel the cloudy protective backing sheet and press the decal to your car window, laptop, tumbler or other smooth, hard surface.

A: The ColorSpark Bling Anything Decal Material is sold by the foot. If you order more than one foot, it will come as a continuous strip.
Postage is calculated at checkout and is dependent on how heavy your package weighs, how large it is and how far you live from our Warehouse. The various carriers calculate postage and we do not make money from shipping. You'll be able to select the carrier before you finish checking out. Thanks!

Q:I want to bling dupe 40 oz. Stanley cups that have a silicone exterior. Will this product work? Or which adhesive would you recommend? I need something that will last 2 or more years.
Thanks.
Asked by: shellystees
- 1/15/2024
A: Silicone by nature repels anything sticking to it's surface. That's why silicone is the material used for epoxy molds and for many cooking utensils or baking molds. No adhesive will stick well to silicone. The only product we've seen hold onto silicone is the Samurai Secret from The Crystal Ninja team. It's a 2-part system used for hand-placing crystals or rhinestones onto silicone surfaces.

Q:Im just starting out and I ordered HTV anything and bling anything materials but what is the difference can you use the HTV anything to make rhinestone decals or just the bling anything material
Asked by: Heather
- 1/23/2024
A: The two materials are similar, in that they turn heat applied materials into a decal or sticker, but the difference can be found in the names.
To make rhinestone Only decals, you will need Bling Anything. If you use HTV Anything, the first layer that you must press to it has to be Heat Transfer Vinyl.

Q:Hello, I want to start with a rinstone decals for cars and tumblers but im not sure if I need just the bling anything or if I need another tipe of glue and what kind of ringstones do I should buy?
Asked by: Rocio
- 1/23/2024
A: You can press hotfix rhinestones to our ColorSpark Bling Anything material to make rhinestone decals or stickers. No other glue is required.
You will need a smooth protective cover sheet when using Bling Anything. We like to fold our protective cover sheet in half and make a little "sandwich" with the protective cover sheet underneath and on top of the Bling Anything and the hotfix rhinestones. This protects your heat press from the Bling Anything melting and sticking to it.
After we press the hotfix rhinestones to the Bling Anything, we let the decal cool for a few seconds, peel the Acrylic hotfix tape off, then flip the decal over, cover again with the protective cover sheet and press for an additional 5 seconds, to ensure the heat is getting to the backs of the rhinestones.

Q:How do you buy rolls of the bling anything? I’m only seeing sheets
Asked by: Terra Goldner
- 4/16/2024
A: The Bling Anything is sold by the foot until you order more than 1 foot. When more than 1 foot is ordered it is shipped as a single, continuous piece. Orders of 10 or more feet are shipped on a roll.

Q:I just pressed a large car sticker using this product. The rhinestones adhered perfectly, but the material inbetween the stones (it is not a solid design), looks to have melted. It is rough and not clear. Any thoughts on what went wrong? I followed the directions on heat temp and time. I've been using this product for years, including this particular design, and I have never had an issue. Thanks.

A: If you haven't already, buy a cheap heat temp gun and check all four corners and center to be sure your press is reading out correctly. If it's getting hotter than it reads out, then you can also be aware that other materials may be compromised along the way as well.

A: On the thumbnail pictures, we like to try and add a lot of information :-) They are 6 inches wide by 12 inches long, or 12 inches wide by 12 inches long. When multiple feet are ordered, it will come in a roll. You can also see the bulk order chart under the quantity so you can see the discount tier levels per foot.

Q:I’m making decals with Bling Anything to sale at a local event. I was just wondering how long will the unsold decals keep their integrity… would they still be sellable say in a year?
Asked by: melanie oneal
- 7/23/2024
A: Yes. Just leave the backings on and store in a cool dry location just like the vinyl that's still on the roll and they'll last just fine.

Q:I’m having trouble with hot fix stones staying stuck to the bling anything. After a couple of days the stones start falling off. Any tips?
Asked by: Pam
- 8/5/2024
A: Hi there!
It looks like you ordered HTV Anything, not Bling Anything.
The two materials are somewhat similar, in that they turn various heat-applied items into a sticker or decal, but they do have a major difference. The name tells you what can be pressed to the material. HTV Anything must have heat transfer vinyl pressed as the first layer and if you'd like to use rhinestones, you can break the typical pressing rule and press hotfix rhinestones onto the htv.
BLING Anything can have hotfix rhinestones pressed directly to it.

A: Under the Quantity box, click on the 12" circle so it knows which width you'd like before it allows the rest.
