We've just tested the Snow ss10 Rhinestones and have zero issues getting them to adhere to the shirt. If you are having issues, it could be the heat press you're using or the pressure. We recommend getting an Infrared Heat Gun to verify the temperature coming off of your press.

The test we just did pressed ss10 Diamond Cut Snow rhinestones at 325 degrees F for 15 seconds. I do let my stones cool a bit before pulling the Acrylic Hotfix tape, as that heat activated adhesive could still be liquified.

First off, to avoid failure before even pressing - check the health of your press. We have youtube videos on how to check your platen temp for consistency or problems on our channel. Thermal Heat Temp Guns are cheap and well worth the investment. If there are (search our channel for this) "Cold Spots", then not all of the stones are going to be fully liquified on the backs and can fall off.
Another common mistake is layering over the HTV. The stones have no fibers to grab onto and can also fail in the wash from this. We can do this with tumblers because the stones are not being knocked together like laundry. We have designs called MultiDec that can incorporate stones and HTV both in a successful way.
Next, do not pre launder your shirt before adding stones. You want the fibers as clean as possible without soap or fabric softener residue greasing up the fibers.
Lastly, we like to launder cold, and dry on medium or air fluff. Do not use fabric softeners or harsh chemicals in the wash such as vinegar, bleach, etc as this can wear down the stone adhesive and cause failure as well.
When properly pressed, and cared for, the stones will outlast the garment.

A: There could be a number of factors that can affect your rhinestones and how well they'll hold onto the clothing. Properly pressed rhinestones will outlast the garment.

These are our various recommendations for using hotfix rhinestones:

First, pre-press your new, never washed blank apparel. This is important because it removes any environmental moisture and if you pre-wash the clothing, the chemicals and additives in detergent, and especially any fabric softener/dryer sheet will coat the fibers of the fabric, interfering with the rhinestones ability to grip onto the fabric.

Next, get an infrared thermometer to test the heat coming off of your heated platen. We press ss06 and ss10 hotfix rhinestones at 325F for 15 seconds with medium firm pressure. We do recommend an actual heatpress rather than a home iron or Easypress. The Easypress will work, but you'll need to add quite a bit of pressure and the Easypress is notorious for being off on it's heat.

Let the stones cool a few seconds before removing that Acrylic hotfix tape, so the heat-activated adhesive has a moment to start to cool and re-harden.

When washing, stay away from all fabric softeners and laundry scent beads. As mentioned, those chemicals interfere with the adhesive.

You cannot layer hotfix stones on top of htv for garments. You can break these rules for decals with our HTV Anything because they aren't laundered. The stones may not pop off the garment the first or second wash, but they will pop off with no fibers to bond to.
Next, with a jersey, you need to perform a water droplet test to see if the polyester is coated or not. If it's not coated then it should work but adjust your pressure / time / heat settings and do some test presses to learn where that sweet spot is that won't leave scorch marks on the material.

A: We have corrected that error on our site. 100 gross is only 10 bags, so you would get 30% off. If you are purchasing more than 50 bags, which would be 500 gross, you would get 57% off.

The quantity discounts let you mix n match colors of the same size and quality of rhinestone, but not mix ss06 and ss10 to get the max discount.
The order 565584 shows the price for the rhinestones as 5.39 per bag, rather than the 8.99 they would have been with no discount.
The order 565469 had 21 bags of ss06, so that would have been 30% off, as shown on the invoice. There were also 30 bags of ss10, so that also qualified for 30% off as shown on the invoice.
The order 564605 had 29 bags of ss10 rhinestones which also show you'd received 30% off the regular price.

A: We sell our Hot-Fix Diamond Cut rhinestones by the 10 gross bag. A gross is a unit of measure for 144 or any item. There are approximately 1440 rhinestones per 10 gross bag.

A: If left in direct sunlight every day, they will eventually fade just like anything else in the elements. We haven't tested our wide variety of colors to see how long it would take, but not many things are immune to constant uv exposure forever.

A: Layering stones on top of htv for garments will never work. It may not fail right away, but it WILL fail. This is the reason why we've created MultiDec designs. It gives the stones their own areas to bond with the fabric amidst the htv. Just be sure to press your htv layer first since the stones are raised.
When we're doing this with glitter htv in our other videos, it's for decals which is ok to do since they won't go through the violent process of the washer and dryer. That is where you'll start seeing stones popping off, as well as seat belts snagging them and so forth with daily general use.
The stones need the fibers to bond with on a shirt. Think of pressing htv to a coated polyester shirt for example. That also will not work since the htv adhesive cannot reach the fibers and the htv will peel off mid wear.
(In case you need the info on that, you can do a water drop test.) That's where you drip water on the fabric and if it's coated, the water will stay beaded up on top and not absorb for awhile, if at all. Same concept, if water can't get to the fibers, neither can an adhesive and it just sits on top waiting on failure.
