Yes, this will be a continuous piece of Magic Flock. We sell by the roll or by the foot. If you purchase 3 feet, you will receive one piece that measures 36” by 12” wide.

If you're gentle with it, (and do not get them wet), it can be reused hundreds of times. For storing them, we like to use a 3 ring binder with plastic protector sheets to stick them to. Once the circles are cut out, yes, it's a permanent template.

Yes you do need a vinyl cutter to make the holes, if you're new we normally recommend the Silhouette Cameo as a starter machine.

Need more than a few feet? Magic Flock Template Material is also sold by TRW in (24” inch x 5 yard) rolls and (12” inch x 5 yard) rolls.

While we do not use the Brother Scan n Cut machines and are unfamiliar with the blades they use, we do have customers who have successfully cut our Magic Flock template material with their Brother machines.

As with any new material, we encourage you to do a test cut to be sure you have your cut settings dialed in properly, before cutting an entire template.

340 is a custom pressure setting! If your Maker has the preset "Heavy Cardstock" or "Cardstock +" we recommend that one with 2 passes! As far as the blade goes, we recommend the deep cut blade or ratchet blade for best results!

Hi there!!

We have just added the 12" wide by the foot Magic Flock back in stock on the site.

We had received a shipment of Bling Anything last week and it sold out same day. We expect another shipment of it this week. If possible, can your project use our HTV Anything, instead? If you press htv to HTV Anything first, you can then layer rhinestones on top of the htv and it works exactly like our Bling Anything decal material. You have the added benefit of being able to press thinner htv to htv anything and it's $1 less per foot than Bling Anything.

No, it's perfect for that. We have a few videos of us using chalkboard as well on our Youtube channel.
The only thing is with flock, the longer it sits, the stronger it sticks. Be sure to gently pull the design up and replace it to it's backing once the stones are lifted away.
With a little care, the templates can be used hundreds of times.
We have some great videos as well on our channel with other tips like this.
One great one is reminding you to test cut, and how to find your perfect settings to get a template that weeds very nicely.

It's a touch long but it covers a vast amount of materials, along with Magic Flock, and will save you from wasting material in the long run.

We typically used the Standard grip before we started using our own TRW mats. If your template has a very dense rhinestone design, where there isn't a lot of room between the holes, you might be better off using the Light Grip, just so your template does not rip when removing from the mat.

Yes, you can leave the backing attached. That's how we used to cut the Magic Flock material for years, until we discovered with the Cameo and Cricut, peeling the backing off and sticking the flock sticky side down to the sticky surface of the mat helped weed out all the dots.

Whichever way you prefer to cut is fine, just do test cuts to see if you need to bump your pressure up or down. Also, when you peel it up, if you're not getting a good weed, try peeling from a different corner. The last tip for weeding the dots is if they are not popping out, squeegee the template to a table or other smooth surface. Then, peel from a corner and many dots will be left behind. Repeat the last step as necessary.

Question 1 - The materials needed are hotfix rhinestones, magic flock, a design, and Bling Anything. No additional adhesive needed, as the hotfix stones are pressed to the BA material and it does not yellow, it's clear.
Question 2 - You can add text to the designs by placing a font with it, yes.
Question 3 - Cricut software (Design Space) does not have rhinestone designing tools, but you are able to use our rhinestone Crafter files and our rhinestone true type fonts in Design Space. Our Crafter files have the rhinestone designs sliced out or knocked out through the template, so that DS sees it as a single object rather than a rectangle with hundreds of dots. We design in our TRW Design Wizard paired with CorelDraw to work. You can purchase Silhouette Business Edition on site as well, which has a few primitive rhinestone tools as well.
Question 4 - We do not sell magnet backed materials.
Question 5 - The adhesive we recommend for shoes are also located in full shoe kits on site. We do not use toxic materials such as e6000. Our adhesives can be placed near the skin safely, as e6000 cannot.
Question 6 - Our adhesive will work for most things, please read the descriptions under our listings to see which would be right for your applications. Some materials, such as silicone and other petroleum based items, will repel the adhesive.
Question 7 - We have applicators on site, yes. They look like a syringe with a very wide barrel tip vs a needle.
Question 8 - Porous fabrics or materials may need to be researched a bit. We have descriptions under our listings if it's needing to be hand placed, or see if our other videos using hotfix stones would be a better choice.

The size of rhinestones would be entirely up to you and what projects you're working on. We typically use ss10 (3mm) for our projects, but sell ss06, ss10, ss16 and ss20.
We also carry larger rhinestones in the Korean Low Lead Crystal in ss30 and ss34.

How do I use Magic Flock?

Answer

Create your rhinestone design, making sure to size the cut holes appropriately for the size stones you are using.
Cut your design, by running the magic flock through your craft cutter with the protective backing still on.
Once you have cut out the circles where your rhinestones will go. Peel your template away from the protective backing.
Stick your template to a flat, smooth surface and sweep the stones into place. When your template holes are properly sized for the stones you are using, your rhinestones will fall beautifully into place right side up.
