ColorSpark Vinyl Shield Application Tutorial

Use ColorSpark Vinyl Shield to protect your vinyl creations

Step 1

Create a design and 1 offset. The offset will be the vinyl shield cut.

Step 2

Place your unicorn opal vinyl color side up to the sticky side of cutting mat. Do not mirror your design, load and cut.

Step 3

Place vinyl shield shiny side up on sticky side of cutting mat. Load and cut.

Step 4

Weed out all designs.

Step 5

Place transfer tape on top of the vinyl shield. Run squeegee over the design a few times to get rid of any bubbles.

Step 6

Once the vinyl shield is transferred to the tape, peel off the carrier sheet on the back.

Step 7

Place parchment paper in between the vinyl shield and unicorn opal vinyl to easily center the designs.

Step 8

Run the squeegee over a few times to get rid of any bubbles and make sure the vinyl shield stuck on to the design.

Step 9

Peel off the backing sheet on the unicorn opal craft vinyl.

Step 10

Place the decal design on the tumbler.

Step 11

Remove the transfer tape.

Step 12

Leave product at least 48 hours before using.
