It calls for SS06 rhinestones but can you use SS10 in its place?

A:
No, the stones won't fit in the holes. SS06 are sized for .1 and SS10 are .135.
If you have a rhinestone friendly software then yes you can change the design before you cut it. We use our TRW Design Wizard Pro 2026 paired with CorelDraw Graphics Suite for it to operate inside of. With our software you can highlight them all then in one click change it to other sizes.
If you have Design Space, then we have some youtube videos showing how to change it there, but that's more for fonts. With DS, it's a fairly primitive software and it may crash trying to open this many dots to even edit, so if you have DS, then you might want to try out either the Wizard to edit, or the Silhouette business edition has a tiny rhinestone panel to work with too.

Resizing a Rhinestone Design:
TRW Rhinestone designs are created based on a standard SS10 stone size. To maintain the proportions and detail of the design it should only be resized by altering the stone size.
By selecting a different stone size in your design software your design will get smaller or larger while still maintaining the proportions and detail of the design.
Selecting a stone size of SS6 or below will make your final design smaller while still maintaining the proportions and detail of the design.
Selecting a stone size of SS16 or above will make your final design larger while still maintaining the proportions and detail of the design.
Attempting to scale a rhinestone design to a larger or smaller size without changing the stone size requires a complete redesign of the design points and will
NOT
maintain the proportions and detail in the design. In addition to distortion of the design proportions altering a rhinestone design improperly will change hole sizes and rhinestones will not properly brush into the template. A redesign should only be attempted by crafters and professionals experienced in building custom rhinestone design files. To rebuild a rhinestone design you will need to delete, add and move stone points to create a completely new rhinestone design.

SS6 = .100"
SS10 = .135"
SS16 = .176"
SS20 = .212"
