How does one do rhinestones with a download?

A:
Hi there!
After you download one of our rhinestone designs or rhinestone fonts, you can upload the file to whatever software you use with your vinyl cutter. Be sure to size the template so the holes are .135" if using ss10 rhinestones. If you are using Cricut's Design Space, use the CRAFTER svg files.
To cut the template, peel the paper backing and place the Magic Flock template material sticky side down on your cutting mat. After you cut the design, the sticky mat helps remove the dots from the template. These templates are reusable.
Place the template on a table or worksurface, pour hotfix rhinestones on top and use a paint edger to brush the rhinestones into the template using large, gentle circles.
To lift the design from the template, use Acrylic Rhinestone hotfix tape. This specialty tape is designed to withstand the heat of your heatpress.
We press ss10 rhinestones at 325 degrees F for 15 seconds with medium/firm pressure.

Resizing a Rhinestone Design:
TRW Rhinestone designs are created based on a standard SS10 stone size. To maintain the proportions and detail of the design it should only be resized by altering the stone size.
By selecting a different stone size in your design software your design will get smaller or larger while still maintaining the proportions and detail of the design.
Selecting a stone size of SS6 or below will make your final design smaller while still maintaining the proportions and detail of the design.
Selecting a stone size of SS16 or above will make your final design larger while still maintaining the proportions and detail of the design.
Attempting to scale a rhinestone design to a larger or smaller size without changing the stone size requires a complete redesign of the design points and will
NOT
maintain the proportions and detail in the design. In addition to distortion of the design proportions altering a rhinestone design improperly will change hole sizes and rhinestones will not properly brush into the template. A redesign should only be attempted by crafters and professionals experienced in building custom rhinestone design files. To rebuild a rhinestone design you will need to delete, add and move stone points to create a completely new rhinestone design.
