Q: I just received the Opal sample pack. It is beautiful. Is there a way to know which is what color? It is a little hard to match the "in person" color to the one on the screen. Thank you.

Q: I bought a sample pack of color spark opal and every time i cut it and weed it, a top layer peels off. Is this supposed to happen??

Q: When I apply the Vinyl Shield on top of this material it looks like there is microscopic debris and bubbles between those two layers and the decal no longer looks appealing. Am I doing something wrong?

We are in the process of creating videos however they are not ready yet. We do suggest creating your own color charts as you order materials. Just use a round hole punch or a scrap if vinyl to create your own DIY vinyl color chart. Various vinyls deemed permanent have a range of outdoor life ratings. Our ColorSpark Opal Adhesive vinyls are rated 3-5 years outdoors.

Peel the protective cover sheet prior to cutting your design. The cover sheet protects the ColorSpark Opal vinyls from scratches during transit. You see the colors truly pop after removing the protective cover sheet.

At this time, we do not offer the mix n match discounted pricing for different varieties of our Craft packs. We do offer the quantity pricing on 2 or more of the same packs, though.

Yes, you will want to peel off the protective cover sheet before cutting!

Hi there!
We have not had the issues you're describing when we've applied ColorSpark Vinyl Shield over our ColorSpark Opal Adhesive vinyl.

We recommend applying the Vinyl Shield to the decal before applying the decal to a surface. You'll have more control that way. We also like to use our Parchment Paper trick to align the Vinyl Shield to the Opal Adhesive. In this YouTube tutorial, we show at the 6:40 mark how we use Parchment Paper to keep the top layer (Vinyl Shield) from sticking to the bottom layer (Opal Adhesive) until we have it lined up. Make sure you use a squeegee to apply the Vinyl Shield, to keep out bubbles.
