A:
First, close out of Design Space. Then, download the font from your My Account page, then click My Items. The download links will be there. Click the downloaded installer and click Install at the top left corner.
Now, in Design Space, type your text and click the font window on the top bar. Click SYSTEM to search for the fonts you've downloaded to your computer. All of our fonts begin with TRW. Some of our fonts have only Uppercase letters while others only show if typed in lowercase.
To size the font for the stones you are using, follow this tutorial: https://youtu.be/XyYrJFH0Epg
We use the following sizes for the different rhinestones:
ss06 = .1, ss10 = .135", ss16 = .173", ss20 = .208"

Hi, Yes, you can use our true type fonts (ttf) in Design Space.
After you purchase a font on our site, go to your My Account page and click on My Orders. Click the link next to your order and you'll be taken to the page showing all downloads for that order. Download and install the font to your computer. Be sure that Design Space is closed when you are installing the font.
Next, open Design Space and type your text. Click the Font Dropdown menu at the top of Design Space and then click on SYSTEM fonts, rather than the default Cricut fonts, Scroll to the rhinestone font you'd downloaded and click that. Your letters automatically turn into rhinestone letters.
You'll need to be sure to size the font to the proper size for whichever rhinestones you are using. We have this tutorial on our YouTube channel to show how to quickly size your font: https://youtu.be/XyYrJFH0Epg
Some of our fonts also have the point size listed on the thumbnail, description or Specifications tabs.
We use the following diameters for the various rhinestones:
ss06 = .1"
ss10 = .135"

Our fonts are generally set for ss10 stones. If you'd like to edit the sizing, here is the info chart:

I would like to create a name using ss10 stones. I do understand which point size I have to use in order to accomplish that. My question is, is this font scalable in Silhouette Studio Business Edition? For example, let's say that after I finish typing out my word with this rhinestone font, it is 8 inches long, but the product that I want to bling is 5 inches long. Is there a way to resize it to 5 inches? If so, how? I'm also interested in other tt rhinestone fonts and wonder the same about them. Thanks

Hi there!
We always say rhinestone fonts and designs are "set in stone", because you cannot scale them up or down the way you can with vector designs or fonts. The reason being, the template holes will be stretched or shrunk and your ss10 rhinestones will no longer fit.
Th only way to change the size of a rhinestone font or design would be to use larger or smaller rhinestones and change the font point size or template size so that the holes fit those new sized rhinestones. When we go from ss10 to smaller ss06 rhinestones, it shrinks the overall design or text size by about 24%.
We use .135" for ss10 stones for the template holes and .1" for ss06.

How to Install an Open Type Font (OTF) or True Type Font (TTF) File:
Download the OTF or TTF Font Design Instant Download the "My Items" tab in your
customer account
and save it to a specific folder on your desktop computer.
Next, find the font in the folder and double click or right click and choose “install" from the menu box.
Let your computer run its native installation process if one opens.
The font is now installed onto the computer and is ready to use.
If installed while the
CorelDRAW-Design-Software,
Silhouette-Studio,
Design Space, Make the Cut,
Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop,
Inkscape,
TRW-Design-Wizard,
Oobling-Pro, Winpc Sign, or any other design programs is open, you will need to close and reopen the program before you can access the newly installed font.
If this does not work, you will have to find your fonts folder through a search in your computer and drag the font from your downloads folder to the font folder in your computer.
