Tips and Tricks
Cut your design
Get on your design software, creating a design and cut out the entire design on one magic flock template.
Cut Settings
Color separation
Use painters tape and cover all the part of the designs that would have a different rhinestone color.
Brush rhinestones
Brush rhinestones on the template. Use a big brush and brush in circular motion for rhinestones to fall into the template. Brush straight out to remove excess stones.
Use hot-fix tape
Apply hot-fix tape on the rhinestones, firmly press on the rhinestones to transfer them to the tape. Lift the tape up, if the tape missed to pick up some stones, place it back down and press on that particular stone and lift the tape up again.
Second color
Remove the painters tape and apply it where the first rhinestone color was. Brush a different rhinestone color on the template.
Parchment paper trick
Place parchment on top of the brushed rhinestones and place the hot-fix tape with the first rhinestone color on top of the parchment paper. Move the design around until the 2 colors lined up. Create a hinge at the edge to keep the position of the design, remove the parchment paper and carefully place the hot-fix tape down. Press on the stones to transfer them
Repeat process
For a design more than 2 colors, continue using the painters tape to cover part of the designs, then brush rhinestones on, use parchment paper to layer them and transfer them on the hot-fix-tape.
